Hand Made Canvas

Theres nothing quite like a hand made canvas to kick off an original piece!

Most of my larger works are painted on hand made canvas. I love nothing more than creating a piece of work that is truly unique before the colours are even laid. This hand made process delivers a finished piece that screams with originality.

I source the materials, build the frames, stretch the fabric and prime the canvas. This first priming treatment creates a background of texture, that shines through to the finished piece.

Before the paint even comes out of tube, its a one off piece of work!
